Refund Policy
We want every Back2Medicine participant to feel good about their decision to enroll. This policy explains exactly when and how refunds are available, written in plain language so there are no surprises.
The Short Version
- Within the first 14 days of enrollment (or before Week 2 of your cohort begins, whichever comes first): full refund, no questions asked.
- After Week 2 of your cohort has begun: the program is non-refundable, but you can transfer your enrollment to a future cohort.
- If we cancel a cohort: you get a full refund or free transfer to a future cohort.
1. Full Refund Window
You are eligible for a full refund of your Program fees if you submit a written refund request to hello@back2medicine.com within either of the following:
- Within 14 calendar days of your enrollment confirmation, OR
- Before the official start of Week 2 of your cohort
The earlier of these two deadlines applies. No reason is required, but we appreciate any feedback that can help us improve the Program.
2. After the Full Refund Window
Once Week 2 of your cohort has officially begun, Program fees are non-refundable. This is because:
- By Week 2, you have received substantial instructional content
- Your seat in the cohort cannot be filled by another applicant at that point
- Significant instructor time has been allocated to your participation
3. Cohort Transfer Option
If you cannot continue with your enrolled cohort due to unforeseen circumstances, you may request a one-time transfer to a future cohort. Transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
- Request must be submitted at least 30 days before your cohort's end date
- Subject to availability in the future cohort of your choice
- A $100 administrative fee applies to cover scheduling and re-enrollment costs
- Transfers must be redeemed within 12 months of the original cohort end date
- Transferred enrollment is non-refundable
To request a transfer, email hello@back2medicine.com with your name, original cohort dates, and the cohort you wish to transfer to.
4. Cancellation by Back2Medicine
If we cancel a cohort for any reason — including but not limited to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances — enrolled participants will receive:
- A full refund of all fees paid, OR
- The option to transfer to a future cohort at no additional cost
You will be notified of any cancellation as soon as practically possible.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@back2medicine.com with the following:
- Your full name as enrolled
- The email address used for enrollment
- Your cohort start date
- A brief reason for the refund request (optional but appreciated)
We will respond within 2 business days to confirm receipt and process your request.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. Back2Medicine is not responsible for processing delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
7. Removal for Conduct Violations
Participants removed from the Program for violations of our Terms of Service — including but not limited to harassment, sharing of restricted content, recording of live sessions, or other unprofessional conduct — are not eligible for refunds.
8. Discounted & Promotional Pricing
Refunds for participants who enrolled at discounted or promotional pricing (including founding cohort pricing) are issued at the price actually paid, not the standard rate.
9. Disputes
If you believe a refund decision is incorrect, please reach out directly so we can discuss it. We aim to resolve all refund matters fairly and amicably. Any unresolved disputes are governed by the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service.
